Your hair is your crowning glory. Extra care is much needed whether chemically treated or not. Most of us pay attention on shampoos, conditioners, masks, leave in treatments and serums. That's good :) However we fail to realize the type of combs we use everyday. Now narrow tooth combs can be damaging. It can rip of your hair easily if handled roughly. Especially when your hair is wet .Hair is in most fragile state when it's wet. So Ladies and gents please stop that. Narrow toothed combs cause breakage and split ends as well.


Solution???? Tadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.......


Like Duh!!!  Use wide tooth comb...so Obvious...lol


Why should one use wide tooth comb?? because:

1. Removes tangles gently from hair
2. massages scalp
3. better on wet hair rather than narrow toothed combs
4. suitable for all hair types
5. Finally helps keep our hair healthy :)

Essential Waitrose Smooth Peanut Butter

• 93% peanuts, brown cane sugar, palm oil sea salt

My take: ... I love this peanut butter....because its has less ingredients  , tasty and the smooth peanut butter is not too smooth but just nice :)  

 I bought it at cold storage Mid valley Kuala Lumpur for RM10.39. I even saw Essential Waitrose Smooth Peanut Butter at Mercato Bukit Bintang.

Crunchy Essential Waitrose Smooth Peanut Butter has Red cap ;)

Though it maybe expensive than other brands, but it's worth buying because it has few ingredients and no hydrogenated oil :) Organic PBs are Rm 39.90 per jar!!! sigh... :(

However there is affordable healthy PB in Malaysia!!! yay!!! go grab em gals and guys... No regrets :)

Leave- in Hair Treatment Gel

Leave- in Hair Treatment Gel (Smooth) by Hoyu Beauty Labo ColorCare, is a big NO NO for me. As you can see i have only used a little of this product. I bought it beginning of 2010 and it is still here in my room :( sigh...Big regret!!! I bought it because it only costs RM 15 and the packaging said that :


To provide extra smooth to your hair, which this hair treatment gel contains Silk Essence to perform hair night repairing for colored hair that is dry and damaged. Since my hair was severely dried due to humidity, i decided to buy this product. Furthermore, the packaging states that  


This hair treatment gel contains 3 steps of hair care.
1: Gloss care: Restores gloss to dull hair and leaves hair with a healthy sheen.
2: Moisture care: Penetrates deep to replenish lost moisture and leaves hair nourished and supple.
3: Cuticle care: Protects and strengthens hair cuticles to prevent further damage.

With these 3 steps and the contained silk essence, this hair treatment gel can provide extra smooth and prevents your hair color to fade!!

Fruity Floral Scent,
Smooth
4.08 fl oz. (120mL) Pump type

Though it sounded good after trying it I will not give even a star for this product because

1. Smells horrible!!! it stinks man!!!
2. dries out my hair
3. no gloss or shine
4. not even 3 minutes after applying, the promise of moisture...hmmm ... not there
5. Can't comb through because the gel makes my hair sticky :(

So Ladies please be aware:(

The Body Shop CrAnBeRrY JoY

At Christmas Eve 2010, I saw that Body Shop in Malaysia was having  cranberry joy products for sale. Sadly i did not have enough cash to purchase any of their products :( So i started saving for i love all of their body butters :) they smell divine. So after saving up at the end of January 2011 i went to Body Shop and i saw this Cranberry Joy Shimmer Lotion for RM 49.90. I tried the sample, and true enough my hands were shimmery and i loved it smelled....aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Delicious. So i purchased a bottle :) Till today im using it. I must say, im fully satisfied. 


What i liked about Cranberry Joy Shimmer Lotion:

1. Fruity fragrance lasts for hours( boost my confidence throughout my day in university:) )
2. shimmery effect on skin (great for outdoors)
3. Delicious smell (i'm falling in love with myself...lol)
4. Just few squirts will do (saves money)
5. Finally Price reasonable

So there you have it, my review on Cranberry Joy Shimmer Lotion From BodyShop. I'm giving 5 starts out of 5 for this producut :) YEAY!!! 

*Next I'm eying on Spiced Vanilla Body Lotion from Body Shop  :) Wish me luck ...Muaxxxx

SeRuM

Serum in my opinion is a must if you ain't a fan of hair oils. It is the final step after washing your hair and for daily usage. Serums are important because, it helps to keep your hair moisturized(especially your ends), shiny and smelling good :) One of the serum that i have used before would be L'oreal Paris Elseve Smooth-intense anti-frizz serum. This serum comes in an 100ml orange bottle and it is suitable for frizzy, dry and rebellious hair.


What i like about  L'oreal Paris Elseve Smooth-intense anti-frizz serum :

1. smells good
2. argan oil as one of it's properties
3. not heavy or sticky
4. affordable ( below RM30)
5. manageable hair

What i didn't like about  L'oreal Paris Elseve Smooth-intense anti-frizz serum:

1. It doesn't fully solve my frizz problem
2. the good smell does not last long 
3. tames the frizz less than an hour and my hair is back to square one :(
4. does not keep my hair tips moisturize for long

So in conclusion, i would give 3 stars out of 5 for  L'oreal Paris Elseve Smooth-intense anti-frizz serum. It is an OK product ..lol :)

Wanna lose those extra pounds??? how about those muffin tops?? lol  Gym membership to0 expensive? well i have got the answer for you :)

All you will be needing would be , yes you have guessed it.... Jumping Rope !!! :)

Personally i have lost 30kg by just incorporating jump rope into my weight lost challenge every day :)

*important points to remember:

• always wear shoes
• keep knees slightly bend
• arms should not be moving a lot
• back straight, avoid hunching

PeAnUt BuTtEr

I love peanut butter; both crunchy and creamy. It is my sinful treat. Sadly it has high fat content and should be taken in moderation. I do have it in moderation for i wish not to put on weight :) sigh..wish peanut butter was a low calorie food....

Tips in buying a good@healthy Peanut butter

• make sure its organic
• low in sodium
• low in sugar
• and no added ingredients( especially hydrogenated oils!!!)
• read the labels before purchasing because low fat Peanut butter does not mean healthy. It can be high in sugar ....

* why not make your own peanut butter with your food processor?? That way you can know what ingredients are in your Peanut butter :)

HoT OiL hAiR tReAtMeNt

I love hot oil hair treatments. I try ma best to do it 1 a week. It is because my hair deserve it :) moreover hair is the Crowning Glory... so Why not you all out there give it a try? :)


Recipe:

•  Grape seed oil
• virgin coconut oil 

Warm them up and apply part by part of your hair. Remember to give your scalp a good massage :)


Leave for an hour then shampoo and condition as usual :)


Results that I have experienced: 

• shiny hair
• easier to manage
• soft
• less frizz 
• healthy scalp

Well i bet ya'll have heard about cinnamon. If you google for sure one can see that there are a lot of benefits of cinnamon.  personally i take Cinnamon for 3 reasons

1. helps with losing/maintaining weight
2. Cinnamon's Scent Boosts Brain Function
3. it tastes mighty fine with coffee, tea, cooked apples n other desserts...nyum nyum nyum

i don't know about boosting brain function, but it definitely helps me maintain my weight. This is because, cinnamon adds flavor to food without adding extra calories!!! Now how bout that!!! :) personally i feel that Cinnamon is one of nature's wonderful gift to us :)

*so why do you take cinnamon??? :)

FlAx SeEd

I have been taking Flax seeds for 2 weeks now..hopefully ill get the benefits out of them. Flax seeds are loaded with fiber and Omega 3...so why wait...go grab em...remember to ground them before taking them. 1-2 tablespoon a day needed...that is what i read... :) oh yea!!! after grounding please refrigerate. :)
