100% Whole wheat biscuits :)

I made changes in this recipe so that it would be a healthier version .


  • 3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup applesauce and coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup skim milk

I made them into 8 medium size biscuits :)

100% Whole wheat Buns :) 2ND time!!!



Turned out good as well...yay!!! 

this time I used apple sauce to lessen the fat and calories in my buns. ;)


simply delicious with low calorie strawberry jam and a little kaya :) ^_^

AppleSauce



Applesauce is a great substitute for oil and fat in baking so that your baked goodies are less in calories and fat :)


However if the recipe calls for example 1 cup of oil, please use 1/2 of applesauce and 1/2 of oil or maybe 3/4 apple sauce and 1/4 cup of oil . This is to avoid crumbly baked stuff. :) my experience :)

100% Whole wheat Buns :) 1st time!!!

Ingredients :

1 cup warm water
2 2/3 tablespoons milk

1/3 cup canola oil


1/4 cup sugar or 1/4 cup honey (Used Brown sugar)

1 7/8 tablespoons yeast

1 teaspoon salt

1 egg, beaten

3 1/4 cups whole wheat flour


Bake at 400-425f for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned


*7 nice servings... should make the last 2 small buns to one..oh well..glad turn out ok :)

escape reality

I escape reality when I'm alone or feel so depressed. Different people have different ways to escape reality which hurts and breaks the soul. My way is to watch cartoons and fantasy movies; where dreams and ambitions always manifests..good always triumphs over evil...hard work pays off...friendship everlasting and ...people are so safe to explore and chase their wildest dreams.  I can meet Harry Potter, visit Narnia, journey with the fellowship of the ring and many more...never alone...with the company of sincere friends and fear within me can be conquered....when I wake up, reality strikes real hard on face, heart and mind, that I wish I'd never wake up...

Home made low calorie corn bread



1 cup all-purpose flour ( I used Whole wheat flour )
1 cup cornmeal (I used corn flour instead)
1/4 cup sugar ( I used organic brown sugar)
4 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk (used Skim milk)
2 eggs
1/4 cup shortening ( I used coconut oil instead)

Yields 9 pieces :)

25 minutes in oven at 220C 

successful and I loved it
